Formula
GST = Base × Rate ÷ 100 · Total = Base + GST
How the calculation works
In Add GST mode the rate is applied on top of the amount you enter. In Remove GST mode the amount you enter is treated as GST-inclusive and the base is derived by dividing by one plus the rate.
Rates are shown as a single combined GST figure. Where CGST and SGST apply, each is half of the total rate.
